Alvotech, a global biopharmaceutical company in the biosimilar monoclonal antibody market, announces that Dr. Jennifer Hunt has been appointed as Vice President of Operations.
Dr. Jennifer Hunt will be responsible for all technical operational activities within the company, including manufacturing, quality control, engineering and supply chain.
Jennifer brings 25 years of operational and project management experience from the pharma and biotech industry. Before joining Alvotech she was Vice President with Ipsen Biopharm Ltd, responsible for the manufacturing site in Wrexham, developing, manufacturing and supplying biological parenteral products to more than 70 countries across the world, including the USA. Before that she held senior operational roles with Aventis Pharma Ltd and Lonza Biologics in both the UK and the USA.
Jennifer received her BSc in Botany from Nottingham University where she went on to obtain her PhD in the field of biological control.
