Alvotech and the Icelandic sports club KR have signed a collaboration agreement for the 2021 season. Robert Wessman, Chairman of Alvotech and Pall Kristjansson, Head of KR’s football division, signed the agreement.
The agreement includes various collaborations and events, including Alvotech agreeing to pay performance-related bonuses if the team achieves certain targets. A special incentive award in the name of Alvotech, will be given at the end of the season to those players who excel in men's and women's football, in each age group.
Promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging young people to become active in sports is in line with Alvotech´s mission to improve people's health and quality of life. We know that participation in organized sports and youth activities is an important preventive measure in the fight against substance abuse, and it is therefore of a great pleasure for us to support KR’s youth program this way.
Alvotech takes over the agreement from its sister company Alvogen, which has been a sponsor since 2014. Alvotech is also a sponsor of the KR basketball division.
