The certification follows a rigorous process requiring specific policies, processes and controls to be implemented. Although the focus of the project was Alvotech in Iceland, and in fulfilment of the Icelandic legislation on gender equality, the job structure, role definition and career structure moving forward will focus on Alvotech globally, so it might be said that Alvotech is exporting the Icelandic equality legislation.
